    Bynum to the max

While the Lakers were making an announcement about their intentions to keep restricted free agents Sasha Vujacic and Ronny Turiaf, Andrew Bynum's agent announced his client's intentions.

Bynum can get a contract extension this summer from the Lakers. When his agent was told that Bynum suggested he would be willing to take less than the maximum of five years, $80 million, David Lee said they would be seeking the maximum.

He's had a few great months in his pro career. His got potential but there are injury concerns. So he wants to be one of the highest paid centers because of his potential? Signing Bynum to the max could cripple the Lakers future offseason moves.

i guess his agent is just doing his job, but it sounds like Bynum would be statisfied with a little less to stay put.

i think that max signing could be dangerous, dont be greedy do whats best for the team, what if he doesnt blossom into the star everyone thinks he can be? then what.......

He looks good, but noone has seen enough.....plus he's injury prone....Lakers would be idiotic to sign him to a max deal
