Baron Davis agrees with Clippers!
Baron Davis shocked the Warriors by opting out of his contract on Monday. Imagine their surprise now.
NBA front-office sources told ESPN.com's Marc Stein that the guard reached a verbal agreement with the Clippers on Tuesday night and will sign a new multiyear contract with Los Angeles after the leaguewide moratorium on signings and trades is lifted July 9. Read more...

also, brand will take paycut for davis.
so thats two big men (jamison and brand) that got less money than they could because of two point guards.
i guess the league gets what they want... a guard league.

one thing i dont understand......i hear that this deal is 5 yr 60m......but the wizards have offered arenas 6 yr 121m and the warriors offered arenas 5 yr 101m........do anyone one else see something wrong with this......now i know a healthy arenas is better then a healthy baron davis......but they should be in the same range in money...... to me it makes no since that baron is ready to take 40 million dollars less then arenas....when they actually are the same type player and both are injury prone.......please someone tell me what im missing here y is arenas worth so much more money then baron davis?
