    I feel like venting

So every so often I will participate in ESPN chat rooms. This article happened to catch my eye: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2...2&sportCat=nba

If you look under "Top 5 Lakes", #5 is Speed! I was about the 75th person to comment, give or take a few. My first comment is still there. To attempt to make a long story short (something I fail miserably at doing) here's what happened.

I made a comment about the Lake Spped reference, which in a basketball article I thought was pretty cool. After posting it, I realized that someone else had commented about Lake Speed being the coolest name in NASCAR. I figured I would comment and disagree on this. I feel that **** Trickle (for obvious reasons) is the coolest name. NOW, ESPN apparently felt that my comment was vulgar and had it deleted. My comment was simply that "Lake Speed is a great name but the greatest name ever in NASCAR by far is: **** TRICKLE". UGH! Ok, I'm done ranting

p.s. Jeremy, you may want to shy away from this article, you may be overcome with hostility! LOL

Better yet, this forum doesn't allow poor Mr. Trickle to have a first name! THAT IS TOO FUNNY.

By the way, I had thought it might be something to do with that naught, naughty word, but if you look at the comment #186, that word is used in the context my word WAS NOT used in. I feel bad for all the famous people with THAT name, people like **** Trickle, **** Schofield, Bill Dickey, Dickie Thon, Dickey Simpkins, Dan Dickau, Eric Dickerson, Lynn Dickey, etc.

    Ok, I'm done

I feel for you on that one - Lake Speed is one of the best racing names ever - personally I feel Will Power has the best name ever - but the ESPN used to mercilessly kid on Richard and then they remove the comment. Shame on them!

LOL, man, that was harsh on us Cleveland fans/lovers.

Well, if LeBron's gonna be that way, screw him! LOL.

But on topic, I would agree with you--**** Trickle owns Lake Speed namewise.

I find it ironic that ESPN the network that made a big deal about Mr Trickle's name EVERY race is the one that censors you LOL

Mr Trickle is a hard one to beat.....opps that didn't sound right.

Anyway the name I always like was Buckshot Jones. Buckshot is sounds like the perfect drivers name....

And I'm sick of hearing all the Labron junk, all they talk about on ESPN is how much cap room the Nicks and Nets will have 50 years from now, but fail to mention the Cavs will have enough to give James and let him pick anyone of his buddies who he wants on the team. I mean heck, the Nicks are the Lake Speed of racing, wait Mr Speed actually won one race. And the Nets aren't much better since they got rid of most of their talent.
