lytle was intelligently defending himself, so as long as the cut wasn't a detriment to his health, it was a good non stoppage - i hate early stoppages!! did you see at one point the cage side camera was splattered with blood, lol.......i didn't think it was much worse (if any) than some of the other blood fights.....dewees / ray was sick!!.....some other goodies include belfort vs couture, goulet vs heiron, stevenson vs edwards, stevenson vs penn, florian vs sherk
as far as the rampage/griffin fight, it was definately a close fight.....first of all, the 2nd round was probably a 10-8 round on all score cards.....rampage won the 1st, and griffin won the 5th, so its still 2 points in griffins favor.....the 3rd and 4th were hard to score, could have gone either way......i dont think rampage was "robbed" at all as some are saying
mooche - what do you think was so biased about the judging or commentating??

theproudestmonkey - I don't know if we watched the same fight. Rampage was easily dominating 1,3,4 and you could maybe even give him 5. The commentary was bias because every time it was like "Oh great shot by Forrest!", then when Rampage hit him hard they didn't even comment. It was plain as day that everyone wanted Rampage to lose.

ive watched it 7 times now, looking for all this stuff, and the comentary was far from biased....everytime rampage hit him the proper comment was made!!.....and the fight was definately close, not as one sided as you seem to.....like i said, the 2nd was a 10-8 round.....you say they "could have" given him the 5th (which i disagree with) but you are too not sold it was a "dominant round......so even if rampage wins 1/3/4 and griffin wins 2 and 5 its a draw!! what the heck do you think rampage did to win this fight man?? he hit him with some great shots, sure, but griffin's no wuss so its not that big a deal.....the damage griffin did to jackson's knee was much worse than anything rampage did to griffin (tell me otherwise!!).....he did a great job of blocking the powerbomb (and was in a guilitine at the time!!).....a close fight, sure.....could it have gone either way, sure.....but to act like it was a 1 sided fight is laughable!!
i mean i can post the fight links, break them down and point out everything if you want

Another bloodfest was the Griffin/Bonnar 1st Season Ultimate Fighter Finale. That was one for the ages...
As for the fight last night, the second round was definitely a 10-8 round. There's no way around that. Then later in the fight, Jackson's knee cost him the match. He tried to shake it off numerous times, but never succeeded. Griffin got in too many shots to combat what Jackson tried to do. Personally, I scored the fight 48-46 in favor of Griffin...

yeah, griffin / bonner 1 was a great fight (maybe the best ever), just not the amount of blood loss the others had.....watched that koscheck/lytle fight again today, and i wont argue the fact it could have been stopped - ive seen guys win fights after that kind of stuff though!!

I wanted Rampage to win, but I also think Griffin deservedly won the fight. He's gotten much more well-rounded both in terms of escape defense and the tactics of mixing punches with kicks (the latter of which he has gotten especially good at doing).
