Question about NFL Fantasy Football
Me and a friend were making a Fantasy Football League at NFL.com. But...we got to the end and realized you had to pay, so we clicked out. We have been getting emails saying we have to pay 150 bucks for the league, so if we don't pay, do they just delete our league or what? Please let us know.

I have never used that site before but I am sure if you don't pay they will just delete the league. If you are worried, just email them and let them know you don't want the league.

We did, but I'm still worried we will get some "We already made it, you have to pay" stuff.

NFL.com hasn't been free since 2001 season, last time i used it
was gonna use it again in 2002, but found out they were charging
yahoo.com is the best free league in my opinion....but dont worry about NFL.com harassing you...if anything, just delete the league & tell them to make it free, then maybe you'll play

We can't figure out how to delete the league is the only thing. Did you happen to start making your league in 2002 and get to the end finding out they were charging you and you just didn't pay?

exactly...
Have you provided them with any type of Credit card # or anything??? Because if not, how could they possibly charge you?
Let NFL.com deal with deleting the league on their time

it actually pisses me off that NFL.com would charge any money, let alone $150...I've been playing since 1999, and I know firsthand that some of my friends weren't big NFL fans, and didnt watch any games other than their favorite team....Now some of them have the Sunday ticket or go to bars that have Sunday ticket just to watch players from their fantasy team...therefore, my conclusion is that playing fantasy football helps generate more interest in the league....so why charge for helping to promote the game?

Didn't give them anything like that. I don't have credit cards or anything. When I saw it asking me how I would like to pay, I exited out. All they have is my address...which they can send me letters asking to pay at most I guess.

I've played on yahoo since 2003, and have had very few complaints about their service...

nfl.com still has free leagues - you just selected the wrong league options
i wouldn't worry about it - im sure you can delete the league though
