New banner...thoughts?

I tried something different from what I normally do....wanted to see what everyone else thinks.

Input would be cool....I've never really tried anything with layer masks, so this was my first go at it.

I have a question. How do you make that glow. Like around Derek Anderson. I use photoshop and I can't figure it out.

That looks real good. I like the whole look on the left side a lot. I dont even know what layer masks are (I dont use photoshop) but I like it.

it's really quite easy, one you have the picture on it's own seperate layer right click on the layer and hit blending options, it will bring up a new window in that window there should be a glow option at the bottom.
