European soccer cards

I know only a minority of people from this forum collect soccer cards but i tought i should post this here to be more visible.

I see lots of european sellers on ebay selling cards for ridiculous prices. Base cards being sold for $5 and star players base cards going for $10 and the seller claiming the card is rare.

In europe card companies don´t work like in the US, all cards are produced in the same ammounts and in their countries of origin (normally Spain, England and Italy cause that´s where the big names are) these cards are sold for 10 or 20 cents.

The chance of opening a pack and getting a star player from Real Madrid, Milan, Barça etc. is the same of getting a card from a completely unknown player.

I´ll be happy to tell people about forums or sellers from the original countries where the cards were released so you can get them for fair prices. (You can even buy the cards directly from the companies for 10-20 cents each).

Oh and another thing it seems that lately there are loads of autographed premiership cards floating around on ebay. 99.9% of these are fake no matter what the seller says, so don´t buy them.

Basically that´s it... i´m just tired of watching americans and asians being fooled by these european (normally english) sellers.
