ORLANDO, Fla. -- Michael Beasley stood in the doorway to the gym an hour before gametime, iPod in his left hand, head bobbing slightly as he chatted with new Miami Heat teammate Mario Chalmers.
He was the picture of cool.

And on the court, his demeanor didn't change much.

If Beasley was the tiniest bit anxious about his first pro outing -- one that came against the Chicago Bulls and Derrick Rose, the only player selected before him in last month's NBA draft -- he hid the nerves perfectly. Beasley scored 28 points in 23 minutes, lifting Miami past Chicago 94-70 on Monday in the Orlando summer league opener for both teams.

It's summer league. Beasley went something like 1-12 today, can't wait to see Rose play later tonight vs. the Pacers he's so fast.

I think Derrick Rose is everything the Bulls wanted. Beasley may put up higher numbers next season, but the Bulls are much better off with their pick than they would be, had they chosen Beasley. Both the Bulls and Heat won big this draft year.

ok, this is how i see it the heat got the what should of been #1 pick. by far already has the body and going to be a big key for the heat and he going to prove the bulls why they made a huge mistake by take rose over him and if you look at the bulls past 2 year in the draft they have been bust so far and so this year
