    A.P.T. - Obama Milli

I love this freestyle, it actually makes sense, lol. What do you think of this new artist?

Finally, someone appreciates the same music I appreciate enough to talk about it on this site!

And as for this new version of ''A Milli,'' I'm not too entertained. The flow seems so old after it's been done by countless rappers after Lil' Wayne started it (Jay-Z, Jadakiss, Lil Mama), just to name a few. I still love the original but when other rappers escape their true flow for another rappers flow, it kind of already spoils it for me, despite their lyrics and things like that. It all comes down to, if I wanted to hear "A Millie" then I would listen to Lil' Wayne, and pretty much no one else.

not feelin it ... but then again that could be because I don't understand they hype with Lil Wayne. I attribute his success to all the teenie boppers in the world these day's who don't listen for substance in a song any more, they only care about who's got the flashiest car, the biggest chain or the scantily clad women in their videos. Whatever happened to real Hip-Hop? Lil Wayne has no lyrical skills at all, he should take a lesson from some of the best like the GZA & RZA from The WU, Black Thought, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common etc.

I mean just look at this one verse ...

    The Genius from "Shadowboxin"

I slayed MC's back in the rec room era
My style broke mother&$^#*^ backs like Ken Patera
Most rap *&$$#% came loud, but unheard
Once I pulled out, round em off to the nearest third
Check these non visual *%$$&#, with tapes and a portrait
Flood the seminar, tryin to orbit this corporate
indsutry, but what them *^%%!$ can't see
must break through like the Wu, unexpectedly
Protect Ya Neck, my sword still remain imperial
Before I blast the mic, RZA scratch off the serial
We reign all year round from June to June
While &%$$!# bite immediately if not soon
Set the lynchin, and form the execution date
As this two thousand beyond slang suffocate
Amplify sample through vacumn tubes compressions
cause RZA, to charge ^%$$@* twenty G's a session

I live, breathe, bleed rap and hip-hop being born in Compton and raised in New York.

I'm not a Lil Wayne fan either, but I thought this remix/freestyle was pretty good, as well as being parodical, so I enjoyed it.

I'm more of a lyric guy; I hate those Soulja Boy, Mims, Dem Franchize Boys type of artists. Give me Chamillionaire, The Game, Nas anyday; I thought the "Cha-Milli" freestyle was a lot better!

Yeah I agree the song was catchy and "neat" to say the least I guess. I just had a discussion with someone I work with the other day about this same topic and I guess it's just the style of music today has changed so much that most of your real "Hip-Hop" fans just don't understand it. I can throw in "Return to the 36 chambers" any day of the week and when you listen to the story they tell it just makes sense ya know, now days you don't get that story feeling anymore from "Hip-Hop" and I think that is what's driving the genre down the tubes. JMO though so take it for what it's worth.

demonpower - I just checked out the Cha-milli freestyle and have to agree that is 100 times better than Lil Wayne's version. Like he say's in there at one point though, "this song says MILLI so many times it can get annoying" .... aint that the truth!!!

Chamillionaire is one of the most under-rated rappers in the game today. His lyrics are great and his mixtapes are better than some albums. His "Hero" freestyle is pretty good as well; I can't wait for his Mixtape Messiah 4!

Lil Wayne has no lyrical skills at all,

Really? You're crazy. He puts out some of the best lyrics IN THE GAME. He's one of the best, I don't know what Wayne you've been listening to.

But, like others, Chamillionaire is my favorite rapper. His mixtapes are rediculously good. However, I hated his last album he put out. That was pretty weak.
