souperman - those are almost exactly my sentiments. I love Favre, he's my all-time favorite player, but I want to see him go out a Packer, without injury, and at the top.

As much as I hate to use the term diva, that's really how it's starting to look. Especially after hearing he was about to announce his comeback in March, but decided to stay retired. As excited as I am to see the "New Packers", I definitely don't want Favre to play elsewhere...I'm even a Carolina fan, but seeing Brett in Panthers blue would be sickening to me.

I'm excited to see Rodgers at the helm too. Yeah, he may be a flop...but he has huge potential, he wasn't rushed into the job like Alex Smith and some others, and has learned for 3 years behind one of the best. If Packers fans' only hope of a championship is riding on Favre, there's not a bright future ahead...but if Rodgers comes in and plays well, we've got a great team for years to come!

I know it's extremely hard for him to hang it up, but there will always be the itch to come back whether it's this year if he retires when he's 52...it's just part of it. But it doesn't mean you have to scratch it every time it pops up.

I think Favre could lead the Pack to another great season and at least to the NFC title game again. With Aaron Rodgers I think the Pack still squeeze into the Playoffs because of default lol But with no experience in the playoffs, BOUNCE! Just ask Romo how hard it is to win in the Playoffs. lol
