    Wilt Chamberlain Auto

I have a question for everyone. There is a guy in town that has a 1992 Upper Deck Heroes Card Header of Wilt Chamberlain. It has his auto on the front of it. It is certified and slabbed as an authentic auto by GAI. Some of you may have seen a card like this sell on Ebay. I couldn't find one that sold. How much do you think that card would sell for? You input would be appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't buy an autograph even if it was certified authentic by GAI or any third party authenticators. You have to understand that it is only the third company's "opinion" that it is authentic.

They only way to obtain an authentic autograph is if you actually saw it signed by the athlete/celebrity or buy from reputable companies like Upper Deck, Steiner Sports, Tri-Star, etc. You can be assured that they are the real deal because they actually do their own signings plus they can also give you pictures or videos of the signing.

If you are really looking specifically for a Wilt Chamberlain authentic autograph card, Upper Deck released two sets in 1999 or 2000- "UD Legends" and "Inkredibles". But it would cost you at the very least $1,500.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers!
