We all know that if it was just talent was the only qualifier in who would be let go, Mears would've been gone justlikethat. But it wasn't and when you add talent+equipment+something to prove=the perfect situation.

My only question is can he hold it in during the Chase? Only time will tell.

Honestly? I think he will. I believe unless he just loses his nerve (unlikely) that Kyle will win the Chase going away. Not what I want to happen but I belive its just his year.

I'll laugh so hard if come Homestead, Kyle running for the championship gets taken out by none other than CASEY MEARS, to allow a Hendrick guy to win the Championship.

I don't see anything wrong with Kyle getting on Jimmies bumper, its not like he wrecked him. Jimmie was trying to get off to a slow restart so he could slow everyone up behind him, and Kyle was smart enough to not fall for it.

I know Johnson won a few races on restarts like that. Sucks when its your driver, but thats racing, thought it was a great restart, jimmie was gonna try and lay back but Kyle was having none of it. Bot a big fan of Kyle, but man, he can drive the wheels off that thing, its quite impressive.
