hey guys im going to the national for 3 days this is my first year going...what should i be expecting when im there? should i bring my own cards to trade? just give me some thoughts on what its all about thanks!

I would bring some cards you have for possible trade. Of course only bring the stuff that is hot or high end. As that would be the most likely the dealers might trade for. As the low end stuff they will have it.

As for what to expect be prepared to see more cards than you ever seen in your life. As it will be a great time and you will see so much so be prepared to take it slow. If your a person that goes thru the boxes card by card your going to not make it thru the show in a day. As there are 1000's of tables.

Be prepared for some of the best prices on BOXES that you ever seen. As they will beat ebay no shipping costs. Plus if your into redemptions they will have some sweet program as well. In addition you will see famous athletes just chilling and walking by before or after they done their engagement. So there is no telling what or who you might bump into.

If you buy anything or get a box or two stop by the table and we can do a box break. Or I will take some pictures of your stuff to share with the members. Drop me a pm as i have my table number that I will be set up at. Look forward to meeting ya and hopefully you enjoy it and go to another one.

hey man, i was there for one of their regular shows around march (same place as the national).....be prepared for a ton of tables i didn't even get thru half of them & i was there for 2 days so i can just imagine how the national is gonna be......prices are a little bit higher than usual but you can find deals.....but this is my #1 advice when going to this......

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN TRADING/SELLING CARDS AT THAT PLACE.....i had over $500 in cards stolen by a dealer when i went and i vowed never to bring my cards to a show again.....just make sure to keep a close eye on your stuff man & DON'T let more than 1 person look at your stuff at a time.....that was how i was taken.....one guy was looking thru my stuff while another one distracted me and when i left that table i knew i was taken......i met quite a few shady characters there man so i'm just sayin' be careful when you bring your stuff there.....

What three days will you be there? We will be hosting live interviews with some of the card companies throughout Friday at the SCF Corporate booth. Be sure to stop on by and say hello and as Don mentioned, you can come by to do some live breaks or simply show off your goodies...

I too am jealous. Wish they did the Comic-Con in Chicago and the Nationals In San Diego. Well you know what they say, Wish in one hand and poop in the other and see which fills up first.

yea im very excited and happy...I have about $700 to spend so should bring back some decent things...Tony, ill be there from July 30-August 1...ill be in business every hour of the show every day im there...

I never even saw that much money when I was that young. Heck I have a hard time seeing it now.

If you are having issues SCF will havea table there as you know. Maybe they can help you.
