saints sign 2 draft picks
6th round Draft pick Taylor Mehlhaff & 7th round pick Adrian Arrington have agreed to terms with the New Orleans Saints.
Mehlhaff, a 5′10″ 184 lb kicker from the University of Wisconsin, was the 178th overall pick, & was a first -team All-American selection by the American Football Coaches Association in addition to earning All-big Ten Conference Honors.
A 6′3″ 192 lb Wr, Arrington was selected with the 237th choice, acquired with a trade with the Green Bay Packers.
Hailing form Cedar Rapids Iowa originally, Arrinigton , a junior, posted career highs in his final year at Michigan. He Started all 13 games for the Wolverines catching 67 passes for 882 yards & 8 TD’s. He also captured the Desmond Howard Award as the top receiver for the Wolverines.
The Saints also made 3 other roster moves waiving CB Anwar Phillips, QB Travis Lulay, & DE Jeremy Geathers

I've been high on the Arrington pick since the second day of the draft. I've been watching a lot of Michigan replays on some of the college networks, and the guy just looks like he'll have what it takes to be a star in the NFL. I don't know how he slipped so far after the performance he put on at the Tangeri....er, Capital One Bowl, but I'm sure glad he's a Saint.
