Man this sucks. As if the top West teams needed to get better. Well, the Rockets are going to make it out of the first round if Artest stays sane all season.

Man, there are 10 or 11 teams in the west that could easily make the playoffs now.....and 8 or 9 of those could go to the second round....wow!

Deal is waiting till august 14 cause we signed Greene at July 14
We were already borderline contenders, just couldn't get healthy. This for sure, will shut up the haters. I love Morey

i don't know if any of you guys have heard of Scott Ferrall, he does a radio show. i used to listen to him when he was on in DC many years ago. anyway, i heard about how Ron Artest was calling in to wish Ferrall a happy birthday, then Ferrell said something like "so what do you think of being traded" and Artest had no idea and said he would call his agent after hanging up. just thought that was amusing how a lot of the press knew before Artest himself knew.
i just tried to google to find a sound clip but i can't find it, but i found one site where someone typed up a transcript

Underdawg I never have hated on the Rockets...I love them, however I hate on the fact that tmac has missed 55 games in 2 yrs and yao miss just 40+ last year and if i'm not mistaken didn't Rtest miss two handfuls of game either last year of the previous year? battier almost hurt himself at the end of the year(which is another great defender aloung w/ Rtest now), and alston had a sick *** playoffs(which oint guards seem to do--the most important position in my opinion)...If they can stay healthy for at least 2/3 of the season and ALL OF THEM be healthy for the playoffs then yes national contenders...but if they r not healty for the playoff goodbye round 2
