Currently up to 67/194 not including 1/1s. That's 35%, so not bad considering I really started this project about 2 months ago. Going to Tampa in August, so that should really help with the cheap stuff and maybe some nice items as well.

Very nice start, love James Shields, good to work on that collection before he gets really big like I think he has the potential to get. I would say that if the Rays make the post-season, it will be a good start to get his name out there, but if they don't get a deal done in 4 hours... I'm counting them out (as a Rays fan).

But yeah lol, sorry... keep up the good work, a lot of his stuff grabs high money but with any luck you should have a lot of his cards soon.

I'm copying you with the thread and everything. Yeah, some of his stuff already grabs big money, but its still reasonable. I'm working on getting two huge additions soon...hopefully the negotiations go well.

As for the trading deadline, I don't know what happened, but I didn't want them to trade their big prospects (Wade Davis, Hellickson, Price obviously), so if thats why they didn't do anything, then good. If we didn't make a move to hold onto Brignac or Niemann, then I'm a bit disappointed. I do believe that prospects built this team and if we want to be good for a while, we need more of them.

Hehe, thanks, I like being copied and it's fun to do, I collect for numerous reasons and having a topic devoted to my collection is something that I love, makes it a lot more interesting for me.

I agree with that too, I was praying we didn't move Price, but I was hoping a guy like Niemann or even Davis, we have a lot of pitching prospects and 3 solid starters already on our MLB roster in Kazmir, Shields (could be our 1&2 for a while to come) and a good rotation guy in Garza. While it may have been better to see the Red Sox completely screw themselves by trading 2 top prospects and Manny for a guy who isn't even as good as Manny, I would've liked to see a Holliday, Dunn or Fuentes join the Rays. But I will retract my statement from the post above, I don't think we're not a contender anymore, the Red Sox I think are lesser than us now, it's just a matter if the Yankees catch us and if they do, we can still make the wild card.

Added gold refractor to my rainbow. It came with an extra blue refractor thats available if anyone needs it.

2006 Upper Deck FX Red/99 and Purple/150. Not huge additions, but they are RCs and
still on the list.


2007 SPx Winning Materials Gold Triple Autograph /35. A rare one to find without a ridiculous BIN, picked it up on Beckett before it imploded:


2007 Exquisite Reflections /10. A tough one to find. Snagged it on ebay with a best offer.


2008 Upper Deck Goudey Black /34. Paid too much on ebay. Should have been more patient - but I got the card out of the way.


2008 Upper Deck Diamond Collection Auto /5. I thought that this one would be really tough to find. I was shocked to see it go for just $13. Very happy to get it. Card is strange though, it has two stickers - one with the auto and another larger one over it. The others from this set as designed the same.
