Is this a steal?
1999 Josh Hamilton bowman chrome rookie card beckett graded 9 for $10
I'm a new collector(14 y.o) and I just wanted 2 know If I got a steal. I'm pretty sure I did.

Not a bad deal by any means but not sure if it was a steal. Card books 25 ungraded.

Well wait a minute here is the question more like a problem when it comes to beckett grading is it a BGS 9 or BCCG 9
and I hate to say it but have to call him out. Just like Mark McGwire struggled in the HR Derby the year he was going for the record. B/C The pitching coach who was throwing was just giving him meatballs. Is the same reason Hamilton done so well B/C and old friend of his was pitching and was throwing a heck of alot easier to him than others.

Which one did you get? BGS will be worth more money...a BCCG is like a BGS 7.5...lol

Beckett Grading Services and I think like Beckett Collector's Club Grading.

Most of the time the BCCG graders arent as picky and specific as the real, professional graders from Beckett. However, sometimes a BCCG grade is the same as you would get at Beckett. It's all because the BCCG guys arent "pros" at grading and are more lienient (prolly didnt spell that right, lol) so theres no guarentee what exact condition that its in.
