for boxes around 50-70 i usually buy topps chrome, spx,ud hardcourt.those are ones of my favorite products of all time.chrome you always look for refractors.spx is always the jersey/auto rookies.hardcourt has some nice looking autos in the various subsets.

Topps Trademark Moves holds a very good value per box, considering that there is a Triple Auto in every box, among other nice hits.

If you are interested in collecting don't buy boxes use ebay. Singles of players you like will make the hobby more fulfilling.

I disagree. I mean yes eBay is a good tool and everything, but nothing can really beat the excitement of pulling that next "big" hit. You can't really buy that on eBay, you know?

seems most of the basketball releases over the past couple years are selling well under their inital msrp - so there are a ton of products like trademark moves or stadium club. echelon, etc. that offer alot of hits and with the reduced price, good value
personally when it comes to midrange products - i've been a fan of Fleer Hot Prospects.
The rookies are numbered low and are auto/patches....if it wasnt for the sticker autos IMO there as nice as any rc out there (except exquisite). Also i like the variety of other insert auto's - like the draftday postmarks, aka autos and lettermen autos.....It doesnt really contain huge hits, but from the boxes ive opened over the past few years it has been a fun break wih good value
