1959 Bazooka baseball

I just joined up today. Anybody know anything about 1959 Bazooka Mickey Mantle pricing? Price guides seem irrelevant as to this card. By the way, is this site mainly for newer cards? Thanks.

The best place to check pricing is ebay... it is primarily newer cards, but there are a few of us vintage collectors....

Welcome to SCF, there are lots of vintage as well as recent collectors here.

1959 Bazooka Mickey Mantle -
As a general price the 2008 standard catalog says:

VG-525$
EX- 875$
NM- 1750$

If you can find a complete box double the bv.

I would say a good copy graded would go for much more.

There are a great many Yankee and Mantle fans out there
and the card will always have a substantial value.

Thanks, guys, for the info on pricing a 1959 Bazooka Mantle. In addition to the 2008 SCD Standard Catalog, I also use eBay prices. Because this card is hard to find, I have trouble getting a feel for what I should pay for one. I'm sure it goes for more than book, however.
