Colts fans-where does Mike Hart fit in?
I am not a Colts fan first off(Jags die-hard),but after watching Hart in his limited action last night, does he have a shot at unseating Rhoades as #2?I realize it was 2nd-3rd stringers but so is he.

I think so.....He is a beast of a back! I've been following him since high school since he is a local guy. He looked very impressive during the game!!

I agree with bigrob, I think he can unseat Rhodes. One thing that Mike has going for him is his pass blocking ability. He's not timid when he comes to throwing a block, and Peyton isn't exactly moible. I'd think Hart would get the 3rd and long where he might need to block, maybe slip out for a screen, etc.
I'm glad he looked good in the HOF game this past weekend!

Even though the Skins had a lot of backups in, he did look pretty good. Did he gain some weight or was he always a lil chub?

I was really impressed with him Sunday. I know the competition wasn't what it will be but he looked real good. i think he can take Keith's spot possibly even Rhodes. I think he adds a new dimension to the Colts running game. A toughness the other guys just dont have.

I've been trying to tell people that!!!! He went to high school in Onondaga which is about 35 minutes from where I live, so I've been watching him on the local news, and reading about him in the paper for a longggg time. He is quite the runner and adds skills as a blocking back as well.

he is going to be awesome. I saw a lot of him as I am in Big Ten country. The way he played on Sunday was impressive for a guy his size, he straight up lifted that one dude out of his shoes on the play where he lost his helmet!
I think he is easily #3 RB. Rhodes is just too seasoned and proven to be considered a #3 behind Hart right now. I dont like Rhodes attitude/personality much, but he is definitely a good back.
Im kind of disappointed that the Colts gave him #32 though

I wouldn't count it out. Colts seem to have a knack for getting backs that turn out to be very talented.

It really looked that way Sunday. I'd like to see how he does against no.1's. He should do pretty well considering OSU isn't an opponent on the Colt's schedule.
