Glad to hear that. He looked like a pretty talented runner. My only question was his power since I only saw him on a few occasions.

Yeah, I don't think DeAngelo wants to "tank" anyone, I think he wants to put his foot on the gas and leave them in his dust. ;)

If Fox follows his usual pattern there will be no true starter and no commitment to the running game. Fox has a bad habit of giving up on the running game if they aren't getting 5+ yards on every carry. Dating all the way back to Stephen Davis, Fox has always been willing to can the running game for an all-out passing game. The last time a Panthers RB had over 250 carries in a season was 2003. How can ANY back be successful if all he gets is 12-14 carries per game?

Right, and we haven't really be all that successfull since Stephen Davis was the workhorse... think thats why the beefed up the line and are trying to get back to it.
If you saw any of our games last year, it's clear that handing the ball the Deshaun Foster and watching him stand there waiting to get hit really wasn't going anywhere. About the only chance they had was to throw it. When DeA got in, he gained 5 per carry vs Fosters 3 and has some big gains. I agree they should have given it to him more but unfortunately, my calls to Foxy went unanswered during game preperation, ha.

I agree the O-line situation was pathetic last year. I watched a replay the other day on NFL Network in which Foster had 9 and 15 yards runs called back because of O-line holding on back-to-back plays.
