Best night ever! -- PICTURES ADDED!!
Last night at Rib Fest in Huntington, Jake Owen was singing.
Of course, we had to go! We got there and my little sister's friend called and said he was in Red Lobster eating. Its like right across the street. So we sat outside patiently (yeah right!) waiting. Mom said we couldnt go it. PARTY POOPER. A while later she called again and said people were taking pictures and stuff. So we asked mom if it was ok, and she said whatever. We went in and got pictures with him. He was sooo nice! It was his great aunt's birthday too so we met her. lol We told him we'd be right in the front!
It was like 5:30 and he wasnt suppose to come out until 9:30. We sat down there for like 4 hours. It was worth it though. First they had some others singing...Shane Thomas, Shawn Cabell, some other guy, some girl, and Cody McCarver (no idea who he is, but I guess many others did? lol). It was finally time for Jake. As soon as some guy from a radio station stopped talking, we were up there! I dont think anyone ever thought of running to the stage..a few minutes later we were surrounded!
While we were waiting for him to come out and ran over and got pictures & autographs with Shawn and a picture with Shane. He didnt have a marker to sign.
We knew he'd probably remember us from RL and he kept looking at us and smiling. He stepped on my hand once too.
That was pretty funny. Afterwards he said he'd be over to the side signing. My friend, little sister and her friends all took off. Shayne and I stayed there because he was signing there too. He signed both of our shirts. Our friend made her way back over and got her's too. Cody and Felisha were over in the other side. They probably wouldnt have gotten up there if I didnt push them up there. You gotta do what you gotta do for these things!
Ohh!! And he gave me a guitar pick. I had to slam my hand down on it because everyone tried to take it but I got it. haha Then he gave another..my little sister's friend tried to get it as well as everyone else but again I slammed my hand down on it and pushed it over to Shayne and Cassie. lol
I woke up this morning and couldnt talk! My throat is sooo sore!
Definately a great night!! Pictures coming later.

It was an exciting night! He's gonna be in Marietta, Ohio in 3 weeks. Its like 2 1/2 hours from here. Me, Shayne, and our friend are plannin on going. Cassie's mom will more than likely go with us. We're gonna make shirts and posters this time. It'll be tons of fun!

I see your still into racing Congrats on the pick me and the wife went and seen Brad Paisley/Jack ingram / Taylor Swift at the first of the year hopeing to see Carrie underwood in dec i doubt it though tickets are already on sale lol
Good see'ing you again (you know what i mean guess your screen name anyway lol)
