Same reason Rodgers is starting. When a team uses a first round pick that guy is going to start over pretty much anybody.

Agreed, i think the Cardinals think Leinart is the answer, but it remains to be seen. Lets hope he can stay healthy and get a fair shot at proving he is the starter

Yeah, maybe I'm just a disgruntled Dolphins fan because we've been in "rebuilding" mode for so long. I just think chances need to look a little more short-term sometimes (Like what the Jets did). I think fans deserve to see the best possible team the team can field each and every single game.
I think the Jets made out like bandits getting Favre even though they made a sound "business decision". If Warner has looked better in camp and finished the season so well last year he should be the starter.
Who thinks Chad Pennington has a shot ending up in Miami?

Warner kept fumbling, which has been his problems in recent history.
Pennington does have a shot at the Dolphins starting job if he is signed
