Will jets make the playoffs ?
Tell me why or why not......
NO .... They cant beat alot of the teams on there schedule .... farve doenst make them amazing .... They have like thomas jones running the ball..... he is not the best rb as far as someone who can get 100+ yards a game or make big plays ...... and they got jerricho cotchery catching balls outside ..... he is the best reciever on the team and he is just decent..... so i see them finishing 7-9 and finsihing second in the wildcard spot and not making the playoffs

No, AFC is way to tough of a conference for them to make it. Obviously they won't win the division and with Denver, Jacksonville and Tennessee they will have a real tough time even being in the running for a wild card spot as the season comes to a close.

They're going to win the division!!!
Pats are getting old on both sides of the ball. I know they went undefeated last year but the loss of asante samuel will crush them. The bills are good but I think they need one more growing year, but they could be a wild card team. The dolphins... Well there is nothing to say here.
Now to the jets....... We just picked up arguably the greatest QB of all time, picked up the best OL in the league, filled in the holes on our D with great potential players (pace, gholsten, lowry), and have a great receiving 1-2 punch. I don't know how you can say cotch is an ok reciever he was top fifteen in receiving last year and coles is a very explosive WR. They also have one of the easiest scheduals in the AFC So tell me how you have them missing the playoffs.

Couldn't see it happening. Favre is a great quarterback, but is one that is prone to mistakes as well. Unlike the Packers, the Jets do not have the type of team that can consistently overcome Favre interceptions. This is by no means a match made in heaven. I also agree that the AFC is far too tough this year for the Jets to really make noise.

no they are not going to make the playoffs..favre is not going to even be that good this year..their running game is horrid and in the end they will be the jets and finish with a below 500 record.

Considering Favre is on the cover of Madden, He will either be injured or set the single season Interception record because of the Madden curse. The Jets are a mediocre FB team. No matter who's playing Q-B.

please share what you are smoking. Favre had one great year after 2 horrible ones rittled with interceptions. I will take Brady in his prime with Moss and Welker then Favre on the decline with Coles and Cotch. any day of the week. I'll give you that your O-Line has improved greatly ON PAPER. They haven't proved anything yet. When they can win together come back and talk to me about how good they are. You honestly think the loss of 1 CB is going to be the down turn of the Pats? The Pats D is dependent the front line not its DB's. The Jets will recieve their yearly thrashing by the Pats 2 times a year as usual. Regardless of whether you hate the Pats or love them, putting the Jets on the same level as the Pats due to Favre is just ridiculous. I'm a bit of a Pats homer but come one saying the Jets will win the division is just idiotic.
Favre / J.E.T.S. >>>
<<< Pats See you week 2 and 11.
