I'd keep Fitz, Jamal Lewis, Houshmandzadeh, and Hasselbeck.

Those are the 4 best Fantasy guys on that team.

Then, you use the 5th pick to get a stud RB. Maroney isn't the answer....they never use him in NE. Bowe doesn't have a QB, which is why I wouldn't keep him. Marshall is suspended the first three games....wouldn't want that on my team, if there were better options.

who would you pick at 5?

    Addai
    LJ
    Drew
    Rudi Johnson
    Julius Jones
    Reggie
    Darren
    Willie Parker

    Addai if he's there. IMO, it's LT/Peterson/Westbrook/Addai/Larry Johnson/Steven Jackson...after those 6, I think there's a pretty decent falloff.

yeah the RB-situation makes sense to me.
Addai or LJ should be available at 5.(in our league)

anyway,i really think Gore will go wild this year.the only niner this year though.lol
Martz says that Gore could be like Faulk in his offense.would be nice. ;)

You gotta remember though....Gore doesn't have a QB, which means Defenses are gonna gameplan for Gore and Gore only. Gonna make it tough to run when the other team is putting 9 in the box.

Yeah I agree w/nadeau...Hasselbeck, Jamal, Fitz, and Houshmandzadeh. Housh is a better option than Marshall or Bowe if it was all things equal, let alone w/Bowe's lack of a QB and Marshall's suspension.

If Addai is available at #5, take that and thank your lucky stars...he's the 3rd or 4th best fantasy back in the league and getting him at #5 in a keeper league would be a gift from the fantasy gods!

I hope LJ comes back strong (I have him as a keeper in 2 leagues), but there's no way he's up there with LT, AP, Addai, etc. He's coming off a bad injury and mediocre play even before he got hurt (I know, he was my stud that wasn't so studly), plus he has to deal with the same no QB problem you're talking about Gore having. I have him ranked ahead of MJD, but I'm not sure I wouldn't take MJD first...but I would definitely take McGahee, Portis, Gore, Lynch, and Barber over LJ. I know they're not available in your situation, I'm just saying in general.

I would keep Housh, Fitzgerald, Marshall and Maroney. Hasselbeck could struggle considering they don't have much in Wide Receivers. Even though Marshall is suspended the first 3 games, he is a special player. He is called baby TO and I guess is off the field altercations also are like TO's. Jamal Lewis had a nice season last year but can he do it again? Like everyone said, if Addai is there with the 5th pick, snatch him up and thank everyone. lol I also like your thinking with Gore. I can see him catching 70 balls this year with Martz there. Lots of dump passes will offset days when there is no running room for him.

    Good Luck!

    I'd go...Lewis, J., Houshmandzadeh, TJ, Marshall, B., Fitzgerald, L., and Maroney.

I know Maroney didn't get a lot of work last season but I wouldn't keep a QB unless his name was peyton, brady, brees, romo, or maybe palmer.

I'm curious how addai, LJ, Drew, Rudi Johnson, Reggie, and Willie Parker wouldn't be keepers but any of those guys will out play your backs. I;d go addai, rudi, parker, drew, LJ and then reggie as far as your 5th pick goes.

I'd still like to know how 3-4 first round pick RBs would not be kept unless your league contracted or something.
