Anybody watch USA vs Angola? I didn't, but I am disappointed with only a 21-point win....we should've blown them out by 40+....thoughts?

I think the same thing. That is why I don't think they are going to win gold

I'm watching the USA/Angola game right now. I'm very surprised there aren't calls for moving screens/picks and few calls for traveling.

I watched the whole game this morning...

Don't let the 21 point defecit fool you. The U.S. lead by 28 after 3 quarters and lead by 30-32 a good chunk of the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter they pretty much mailed it in and were outscored 23-16. If they really wanted to they could have easily won by 40+.

The one concern from this morning's game was their 3 pt shooting, Kobe especially who went like 1-8 from downtown. It is almost like the 3 is too short for them and they are still adjusting. They will need to improve there against Greece and Spain.

After watching the first half, US needs to hit their free throws and 3-pointers and they need to rotate on time. They gamble way too much on steals and they're lucky Angola hasn't capitalized much on their mistakes. The Lebron dunk in the second quarter was nasty!

Wow, I'm surprised by how much Lebron swears during the game. Without commentary, you can hear the s-word a couple of times as well as the b-word and f-word, lol.

I like how Doug Collins was commenting that he wished he could have LeBron's size and athletic ability for just one day. He just jumps so much higher than everyone else and is so much more athletic than guys his size or even guys smaller than him.

LeBron has supposedly said that he would consider playing Europe for $50M annually if any team would offer it to him. That of course wouldn't happen until he becomes a free agent. Would be similar to David Beckham coming here.
