Question on 2008 Topps jersey Marcus McNeil

I got this in a blaster of 2008 Topps. Said it came with a guaranteed jersey so I thought what the heck. I was upset about it because I never heard of him even though I watch about 3-5 Chargers games a year since a couple of my favorite players are on there (LT & Gates) I looked him up and it seems there are a lot of things he does in the game that does not show up in the box score (typical of a great OT)
Anyway I look at the card and it appears that there is a mark on the jersey. It looks like it is a piece of an autograph to me (some players sign their jersey before they give it to the company) or it may be a design. Any help is appreciated.

That doesn't appear to be part of an autograph. There was a design on those jerseys in which were blue lines.

yah, you can kind of tell in the picture of him wearing the jersey. still cool though.

Thanks. That is what somebody else told me but I wanted to hear a second opinion. Either way the card does look pretty neat and it's nice to know they used the same jersey shown in the picture
