    Upper Deck Masterpieces Football?

Does anybody have any opinions on this product? I'm intrigued by the configuration... the cards kinda reminds me of Turkey Red which I sorely missed last year. Did people like opening and collecting the baseball version last year?

I only opened some retail packs of baseball, and i can honestly say it was the most pleasurable and satisfying break i ever had without getting an Auto or GU'd (or any real insert for that matter)
Alot of cool pictures, and unforgettable moments are captured in the set

For Example- Got A Schilling card with the portrait of him pitching in the ALCS, and in the corner it enlarges his foot and ankle, showing the bloody sock....so as a Red Sox fan it was a cool pc pull, which you can't say often from a base card

But i may be the minority, since sadly it seems most people are just looking for the big hit, but from what i've seen the Football version looks great and i'd think alot of team collectors and set builders will love the set

Thanks... You've got me kinda excited about this set... I like pulling GU/AU's as much as the next guy but I hate how boring base cards are in most sets....

I really like the ones I have seen in the regular UD set and I think it will be a popular set to collect when it comes out.

    Masterpieces

I love the card stock that they printed the baseball Masterpieces on. It has a canvas like feel on the front, and is non-glossy, which was perfect for autographs.
