I can't believe this trade offer i got for fantasy football this morning
i rejected it but it was

    I Get
    Jon Kitna
    Plaxico Burress
    Marion Barber

    He Get's
    Tom Brady
    Terrell Owens

i mean, usually there pretty close trades with people but he wants brady for kitna, owens for burress????

the only edge i get is barber over johnson. but comeon, this is an awful trade

Yeah he saw that email and thought you might be dumb enough to go for it. There is always one out there that thinks for some reason he's going to get something for next to nothing...and sometimes it actually works.

Can't believe no one said it, but sure, that's a bad trade if last year's stats matter. They don't. There's a natural drop-off from record setting seasons. Rudi Johnson might not even be starting by mid-season.

Remember that WR is the least consistent position in fantasy football. Besides Torry Holt, players just aren't at the top consistently. Plaxico Burress has all the tools to be Top 3, just as T.O. does. I consider that portion of it a wash.

You lose Brady, sure. He also lost Donte Stallworth and I sincerely believe their passing game will be drastically less potent this year. Kitna has two great targets in Johnson and Williams, with a promising rookie in Kevin Smith giving it a go in the backfield.

The weight of Barber III over Johnson makes it a deal worth doing in my opinion. Just remember how much things change from year to year. Brady was absolute garbage two years ago for fantasy players. Let's not forget Barber III's well-known penchant for scoring touchdowns. Depending on your league's scoring, which I imagine is basic 75%/25%, that's certainly something that makes him consistently drafted before Brady.

i'm from detroit. trust me, kitna has no chance in that offense, they have one of if not the worse offensive lines. he always is getting killed out there, he wouldnt even start for me, i'd play my backup before him, also T.O i think is primed for another monster year on a much better Dallas team

With all due respect, "being from Detroit" doesn't make your opinion airtight. Keep track of the point differential from the two sets of players. At the end of the year, I guarantee your three score less.

i'm trying to say i've been watching him for 2 years, he is not good. he has more talent on the field than most other teams and he can't get it done, he is also to cocky, guarnteing 2 years in a row lions are getting 10 wins (which they wont!). i'd much rather reject this trade and get a better runningback and a better trade overall. plus barber still has felix jones who will share snaps with him
