Discount DVD's for CC
I have been buying up some of those DVD compilations of old, old TV shows that you can get at a dollar store for exactly a buck. Having screened some of these of late, I realize now that while I was interested in having some "vintage" shows that are now public domain, I get why some of these have become, well, obscure. Now, I'm putting them up for trade for either card cash or cards, in the hopes of giving these DVDs good homes.
This is what I have:
Racket Squad---starring Reed Hadley, this Hal Roach entry was one of about a zillion crime dramas produced in the 50's. 10 CC.
The Adventures of Hiram Holiday---Most of us remember Wally Cox from "Hollywood Squares" or as the original voice of Underdog, but after "Mr. Peepers" ended, NBC brought Cox back for this comedy-adventure series. Comes with Jell-O & Sanka ads. 10 CC.
Annie Oakley---The only Western with a female protagonist, this entry from Gene Autry's Flying A Productions offered a fictionalized account of the exploits of the old west sharpshooter who also inspired the Broadway musical, "Annie Get Your Gun!". 10 CC.
The New 3 Stooges--A complete compilation of the animated adventures of Moe, Larry, & Curly Joe (DeRita), fitted onto one disc. 10 CC.
Dragnet--I have 2 separate DVD's, which became expendable when I bought a 5-disc compilation set earlier this year. One is a 4-ep disc, issued by Alpha Video. The other has 6 episodes. 20 CC each.
Otherwise, I'm looking for 2008 NFL starter sets, preferably Topps or Score."You can't have an oversight committee on stupidity!"--Woody Paige, "Around the Horn", 2/11/08
