Rate/Bash my Fantasy squad
I am in a league with 9 other gents that are here from SCF - I have a Adrian Peterson Leaf R&S RC jsy at stake.
I drafted in #5 slot
I would like to see some thoughts on my team:
QB1 P. Manning
RB1 Ryan Grant
RB2 Jamal Lewis
WR1 Housh
WR2 Reggie Williams
WR3 Nate Burleson
TE Dallas Clark
K Mason Crosby
D/ST Indianapolis
Bench
Fred Taylor
Chester Taylor
Ricky Williams
David Garrard
*it was at this point I kicked on Auto draft (because I had to get somewhere) with my preferences set and all hell broke loose
Donald Lee (not bad Autopick!!)
Ted Ginn Jr (already traded out on the wire)
Reggie Brown (
, going the way of Ginn also)

did everyone have to put in a card in the draft? i think your team is overall about a 6.5/10. i think that your keys to winning are ryan grant and peyton. you have a good chance at playoffs, not great thoug

I feel like I'm saying this to people and writing it online virtually non-stop.
THE RUNNING BACK IS KING IN FANTASY FOOTBALL!
I assume Peyton Manning was your #1 pick, which left you with a garbage dump of a backfield.
I honestly don't think Ted Ginn Jr. is a bad pick. Your WRs are shaky, and he's a #1. Chad Pennington has quite a bit more talent than last year's crew of misfits, and a penchant for hitting little guys on the run (see: Coles, Laveranues). I would've kept him.
...just think, if you would've taken a top tier RB with your first pick, you could've had the luxury of a safety back, and a very decent QB in later rounds. Jumping on QBs seems to be a real trend on here.

UH because he was in in the same league as me where 6 point Td's reign supreme, a Running Back is king in FF as long as he wont score more than any of the QB's available, especially in a 6 point per all TD format
Oh and to let you know, i won last year with two second tier running backs because Jackson was out a lot of time, and i had Lendale White and Deshaun Foster until i traded and got Maurice drew and found Aaron stecker.....to let you know how sucky my RB's were last year, I had Ronnie Brown, Steven Jackson, and Shaun Alexander...uhhhh LOL. All got injured, and i was basically screwed but wideouts were strong (Braylon,T.j. and Roddy) And i won with that team....so to prove your point wrong in another post, just because you have a top tier rb doesnt mean you will get anywhere baring injury or poor play.

I have seen your comments on other fantasy teams and they are all negative. So I didnt get Peterson or LT, but I drafted at 5!! Peyton Manning performs just the same as an elite RB
I KNOW THE RB IS KING but I got pretty good RBs in rounds 2-4, things dont always work the way you want, so you have to assess your options
Garbage dump of a backfield?? Come on dude!! are you serious, I have 4 reliable options w/ Ricky Williams as a huge sleeper
RB1 Ryan Grant
RB2 Jamal Lewis
Fred Taylor
Chester Taylor
Ricky Williams
the only area I admit to being weak is at WR. And I will address that as needed

Fred Taylor i think is the most underrated back in fantasy football. the last 6 games last year i believe he got atleast 100 yards rushing and went to the pro-bowl! Taylor i would hold onto. if AP gets hurt, which is a good possibility, then he would start, and williams has been doing good in training camp i heard. WR's are pretty shaky, but every year there's always people to get off waivers so just monitor it closely on WR's and you should be set!

I found the best way to do anything is just ignore him, what i consider a super solid team, he considers a 5/10 team....he says RB is king, yet i took Gore first round at either 8 or 9, and evidently the RB is not king in his opinion. Ill give you my view on your team, solid, just need a couple wideouts, he called my team in our league garbage as well, and no way going to playoffs. Said Brandon Jacobs and Turner were basically "garbage backfield"

I have a horrible team, but Ted Ginn could be my savior?? I hope he can run back a lot of kicks, because Pennington wont be throwing deep balls to match his speed.
