NCAA March Madness Contest

Well, since everyone seemed to enjoy the Super Bowl Squares contest, I've decided to do another contest.

Here's how it will be:

Just like before, there will be two levels for the contest. Once again, they will be notated as Low Fee and High Rollers. The fees to get in are 50cc for LF and 200cc for HR.

The contest is simple. When you donate the card cash, you will be randomly assigned a position on a bracket. Your team will be the same team selected for that position on Selection Sunday. Let's say I got and was randomly assigned the #4 seed in the South bracket. Then on Selection Sunday, the #4 seed in the South Bracket was NC State. Then NC State would be my team in the contest.

Here's how you win. The team you are randomly assigned to must win their bracket in order to win a prize. Here's the breakdown.

Team makes the Final Four: 1/8 of pot (2 winners)
National Championship Runner-up: 1/4 pot (1 winner)
National Champions: 1/2 of pot

There's only 65 teams that make The Dance, so here the prize breakdown if all slots are filled (LF/HR).

FF: 406/1625
NCR: 813/3250
NC: 1625/6500

I will create a website with the brackets when it gets closer to Selection Sunday. This will prevent people who get in later from having an advantage of seeing what slots have been taken. For now, I will simply reply with your position. Please do not tell anyone what team/position you receive to maintain this contest's integrity.

For now, you can only get 1 team in each level. If there's not a lot of interest toward the last few days, I will allow to buy another team.

Remember, the team assignment is random. I have a program that will do this for me. And once again, I am not participating. There's no advantage to getting in early or late, so go ahead and sign up. All you have to do is transfer the cc to me and I'll take care of the rest.

I will update from time to time how many people are participating. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Oh and before I forget, the brackets close once the official brackets are released on Selection Sunday (March 14th).
