Fantasy trade, WHAT DO I DO?
Ok well were in a 6 man team so teams are quite stacked. I have..
QB: Hasselbeck, Roeth
RB: Steven Jackson, Portis, Lynch, MoDrew, Graham, Kevin Smith
WR: Housh, Braylon, Calvin, Burleson
TE: Witten
D: Pittsburgh
K: Crosby.
I LOVE steven Jackson, but im really scared that he may not play. I got offered Addai and Gates for Jackson and Witten
I get: Addai, Gates
He gets: Jackson, Witten
I had the 4th overall pick and took Jackson over Addai, and also took Witten before taking Gates, but the thing with Jackson is scaring me. I think Witten and Gates are almost even, and Jacksons better than Addai, but take in to effect that he isn't in camp, no chemistry, etc.
Would you do the deal?

I would not do it. With Gates coming off of the injury and Witten, one of romo's favorite targets, I wouldn't do that deal with that alone. Addai isn't all that stable either, he has had a few injury problems as well. I'd hold off.

I think it's pretty much a wash...all things even, you're basically just swapping. Yes SJax may hold out longer (I doubt it) or not be in 100% game shape by week 1 (possible), but Gates is dealing with the toe thing which as slowed him down far longer than anybody would have thought. But, I'd rather take chances on a TE than a RB and I like Addai better than SJax anyway...so I might do it, but mainly just because of my preferences.

I would go against the crowd here and do it. While Gates might struggle a little with his injury, I would still expect good fantasy scores from him. Addai mean while will see an increase in carries as Peyton has his knee injury. Addai lead all backs in red zone carries last year. This means touchdowns for him and points for you. He is much more consistent than S-Jax who is struggling with injuries of his own. If S-Jax stays healthy then you would be in good shape. But I do not expect him to last all year. Either way its pretty much a wash, but I would take the shot if I were you. Alot more upside with gates and addai, in my opinion at least.

Hell no. Addai is in a pass-first offense. Jackson is reporting to camp Thursday. Witten for Gates is almost even for me, but I still like Witten, because the Cowboys offense just seems a little better to me right now.

Unfortunatley the Rams had more pass attempts then the Colts did last year. The Colts ran the ball 44.73% of the time, while the Rams only ran the ball 41.3% of the time. Not sure how that makes the Colts more of a pass first offense then the rams. Addai was also the NFL's leader in carries in the Red Zone. Your statement makes no sense.
