    Fantasy Football Trade Help

    MoJo Drew for Jamal Lewis

I'm thinking of proposing this deal to another team. I have MoJo, but figure he won't produce as much with Taylor getting carries. He still had a solid year, but Lewis dominates the carries at RB for the Browns. Is this a fair trade for both sides?

Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

Taylor is pretty injury prone, I'd expect him to miss at least a couple of games this year.

Even though Lewis was a machine inside the 5 yard line last year, he only caught 30 balls while MJD caught 40 in a split RB system.

I think MJD has a breakout year this year when Taylor goes down early in the season

I feel if Lewis can stay injury free he's in for a monster year.

I don't know if I would say Taylor is injury prone. He's played relatively consistently the last 5+ years. Games played: 16-16-11-14-15-15. But Fred is 32, although I just don't think the kind of timeshare at RB the Jags have could allow MoJo to produce as much as Lewis throughout this season.

I'll have to think about it.

Lewis can be iffy as well. Very very tough schedule this year for the Brownies. Until the Browns can do it on a consistant basis year after year, I still think you have to take last year with a grain of salt.

Depends on your league. If you're in a PPR league then mojo if not then lewis. Lewis gets more carries and more goaline touches but mojo returns kicks and catches more balls.

taylor being injury prone is anything but true. Yes he did have a few years that he had injuries, but he's played 15 games in each of the last 2 years.

    11 games in 05
    14 in 04
    16 in 02 and 02
    2 in 01

as for the trade, it all comes down to health. I'd say that the guy with lewis will hang onto him simply because there's less competition on the browns to take carries from him.

I would rather have Jamal Lewis....I've been in a few drafts this year and in each one Lewis was taken a good 6-8 rounds earlier than Mo Drew...Plus there is nobody to take carries away from Lewis.

I assume that you mean 6-8 picks and not rounds.

drew is younger and probably more durable, but taylor will steal carries from drew unless he gets hurt. Plus the Browns should have a higher octane offense.
