    BGS 9.5 selling low?

I have noticed that alot of 9.5 BGS cards have been selling very low lately. Has anyone else noticed this? What would the reasons be for this? I was thinking either the economy is so bad or people are losing interest in graded cards. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Those 2 sales seem to be fair, considering what the ungraded versions sell for.

There are fluke auctions, though. As a whole (based on a much much larger sample), I've actually noticed that BGS 9.5 cards, especially for younger players, have been going up.

9.5's aren't as rare as they used to be. And I'm seeing more BGS 10's popping up all the time. Many years ago, when I mailed in 20 cards to BGS, I'd get mostly 8.5's and 2-3 BGS 9's. Now, I get 50% 9's and 50% 9.5's. They are grading easier these days so I don't think they deserve a premium over PSA 10's anymore.

That seems to be the case, I have seen alot more 9.5's. Why did beckett start grading easier on cards? It will flood the market like all good things in the hobby.

Some of there stuff they have started grading easier on but some of the stuff they are still tough on guys trust me. I don't send alot in but I do get alot on-site graded that I send to my buddy and they are tough on stuff. I got a pretty good eye myself and I usually won't send nothing unless it has a chance at a gem. I have got one 10 in all this tmie of sending stuff in so they aren't exactly that easy lol.
