One mans trash, is another mans treasure
All,
I just now in the past few weeks got back in to collecting, I went through all my old stuff and I'm hooked like I was when I was a kid.
Here's a cool story:
Last week I was on 'ol Craigslist and found a guy selling a lot of cards for $50, I contacted him went and looked at them. on top there were several autograph cards, and tons of cards in top loaders, so I agreed and bought them, half expecting to break even on the deal. It turned out to be a total score, most of the cards in top loaders were crap, the real gems were in the boxes, the best of them being a 2000 Upper Deck Gold Reserve Tom Brady RC #2350/3000 BV 175, along with several more RC (Urlacher, Chad Johnson, Brees). All in all I think I did well, by my caculations there is about 700-800 BV worth of cards. I'm gonna get the Brady card graded, that is a great way to get back in the hobby.

sweet buy. I'm sure the brady is /2500 and not /3000. Also don't expect them all to be worth $800 just because beckett says so.
