'04 Fleer Platinum break
stopped by my card shop today and picked up the packs of the new '04 Fleer Platinum.. nice looking cards. Seven cards a pack (Hobby) for about $2.99 a pack, not a bad price.
Base Set:
135 Regular Cards, 25 Unsung Heroes (1:1), 18 Platinum Picks (?:?), 8 Basic SP (1:3)
Parallels:
200 Platinum Finish, numbered to 100 (overall odds, 1:15)
Inserts:
15 Big Signs (1:9)
15 MLB Scouting Report, numbered to 400 (overall odds, 1:45 packs)
10 Platinum Portraits (1:18)
10 Classic Combinations (1:108)
Memorabilia (overall odds 1:12):
MLB Scouting Report, numbered to 250
Platinum Portraits game-used Jersey (1:48), Patch version, numbered to 100
Clubhouse Memorabilia (1:24), Dual Patch version, numbered to 50
Big Signs autographed, numbered to 100
The Break:
Pulled a regular Big Signs of Greg Maddux, and a Alex Rodriguez Platinum Finish (088/100), nice cards overall. The Big Signs card is a fold out card with the player's photo extra large, the Platinum Finish cards are just that, a parallel to the base set with a Platinum Finish to it (looks like the Chrome sets Topps, Bowman, etc..). I was happy with the A-Rod pull (Ranger uniform) and liked the look of the base set.
Both cards are for trade, so lmk if you want them, looking for Kerry Wood in return.
