    eBay is pissing me off...

Exhibit A) I get ripped off on a nice Aaron Rodgers Contenders that I bought for a really nice price. Never received. PayPal claim closed and I was refunded fortunately. Guy had 99.1% feedback with over 1200 transactions.

Exhibit B) Bought a David Garrard Contenders RC Auto for $120 BIN. Great price, and a nice addition for the PC just as the Rodgers was. Guy had 100% feedback with over 2000 auctions. Nothing looks wrong. Three or Four days pass, and I ask him if the item has been shipped. He throws this excuse my way, "I was out of town unexpectadely and will get your item out Monday or Tues." I saw alright, should have it by Friday or so. Nope. Didn't have it by the following Monday, either. Filed a PayPal Claim and it is still pending. This was from August 1st when the item was bought and paid for immediately.

Exhibit C) I buy the item the 18th. Nice high-end item and pay within' a couple of hours. It's now 5 days later, and I ask him if he's shipped. Nope. He decides that he'll ship out Tuesday which is 8 days from when I bought the item.

Now, I don't know about most people, but I ship within' 48 hours of selling an item. And usually if it surpasses 36 hours I'll toss in a freebie or two anyway.

It's rediculous. This isn't to say that I've bought items from a couple of good sellers, but the bad and slow sellers seem to have surpassed the good sellers for this month.

Fortunately, I only have one more card left to buy before I'm done for now

You'd hate buying from me then...LOL.

Actually, I list in my auctions, in BOLD TYPE, that we ship within 5 BUSSINESS days. I HAVE to do that because of my work schedule. But as bold as we list that, we still get people emailing us the next day asking if I shipped. Or I'll have an auction end 9 PM Sat night and have an email Monday at 8 AM asking if I shipped it yet. And 9 times out of 10, I always include something free no matter what. Depending on how high the item sold for depends on what it is I send.

On the other side of the coin, I usually don't email about items I bought until about 10 bussiness days in, and don't usually worry until it's been 2 1/2 weeks past the auction date.

I've been on Ebay for 9 years now & hae over 1600 + rating with 99.5% I haven't had much of a problem buying but I have many non payers & it drives me nuts. If Naxcom had their site setup better I think they would do better than Ebay.

LOL, guess I wasn't surprised to click the "View Post" tab next to your name Snyper just to see an asinine comment. If you don't have anything worth a damn to say, how about you don't say anything at all?

Anyway, yeah, I like Naxcom, but from what I've bought there, they have rediculous asking prices and their shipping costs are sky high.

I use Ebay because they are convenient and whatever you are trying to sell gets a lot of looks. But I tried selling a car on there and it was a HUGE nightmare. The car was removed 3 times and this is all after I had faxed every pice of information to Ebay prior to the 1 listing. The people monitoring listing are way to quick to remove listings that get reported for ANY reason. Along with that they are not required to give you specific reasons for thier actions and with their customer service only available through chat it's enough to get your blood pressure boiling!

I agree. No reason to wait more then 2-3 days to ship. t takes 2 seconds to print shipping label and put card in mailler. Oh yeah another 30 seconds to walk to my mailbox. I feel your pain on that. The not recieving items, I would blast them with negative. I actually blast negative on slow shippers too. I pay for shipping I want it to be shipped. If I get free shipping the 5-7 days after you get my money is fine with me.

UNLESS you live where I do that that isn't possible. No town P.O. and I leave for work at 3 AM and most days don't get done till after the P.O. closes. I get my stuff in a P.O. box I can access 24 hours a day. But as far as mailing, it usually gets done on Sat.

I do understand you view, but sometimes it isn't always as cut and dry as it appears. 99 % of the time I ship cards free. The only time I usually charge for shipping is if it's a high dollar item I want to insure. What I do charge for shipping ISN'T to cover speedy sending but to cover the shipping charge itself.

I tend to be more forgiving then others on the shipping though. I wouldn't even think to negative someone because I had to wait 8 days as opposed to 5 for a card. But that's me.

This is what I hate the most. Is when Ebay sellers put in the listing "payment is due immediatley after auction ends." According to ebay rules you have 1 week to send payment. Now I have always paid for the item ASAP usually within a couple hours of item ending. Recently money has been tight, but some auctions sell for so low that you hate not to bid on them. And sometimes I do bid to get the win, even if I can't pay for a couple days. Bottom line is you have a week to pay and seller's can ship when they feel like it. It's not right and I dont agree with it but thats how it is. I hate waiting for my items also. If i pay the same day you should ship the next day. To the guy above me the PO will pick up any package at your home all you have to do is schedule the pick up. Thanks
