Masking Tape Tip - Please Read

I have been making trades for a long time, but recently I received a card that was taped in with masking tape. Not a pretty sight.

My mistake. The tape peels right off. Absolutely no sticky residue like scotch tape. I have hundreds of top loaders that have so much residue on them, I have to use Goo-Gone to clean them.

I don't remember which trade it was where I first received the masking tape tip, but thank you. I thought this was worth sharing.

Thank you! I've been using masking tape for over a year now for precisely that reason. Not only does it not leave any residue, but it's so much easier to peel off than Scotch tape. There was a thread a long time ago where someone was complaining about taped top loaders...I left a post suggesting to use masking tape instead of Scotch to make it a lot better, but it didn't seem to catch on there. I think until you actually see the difference, you don't really understand how much better it is!

if youre gonna use scotch tape, wrap some paper around the top loader that way you dont take a chance of your card touching the tape, just a tip

Small piece of paper over the top loader before you apply tape works wonders.
