    never said he wasn't better,I root for all former open wheelers...hornish, montoya, carpentier, franchitti, etc...so, yes, I would rather see him in it

    and btw you give him too much credit...13 top tens in 2.5 years, wow.

    The 'bad equipment' excuse can only go so far for reed, casey, etc

    Well I think Mears had a better chance to do something with Ganassi's equipment, as he was there for the highest of highs, reed came in during the down fall of ganassi.

    Now Ganassi is going to be a one car team unless they can find sponsorship for another one and sign someone. I bet Montoya will be sponsored by Target since Texaco/Havoline is leaving.
