Warning... dont buy from this EBayer

    so here is my story...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&it em=140255083548

i won this card which i paid for two days later. but when i got the card in the mail yesterday, it was bent into a half circle! There is a giant crese mark on both the front and back of the card.

First of all, I had a bad feeling when I opened the mail box and saw a flimsy "bubble" envelope which had a big rip down the middle, i was surprised the card was even still in there. the card was shipped in a top loader, without any other type of protection.

now, the seller says he will not do anything for me, because he is not responsible for damage after he ships it out... but i believe he IS responsible for ensuring that the package is secure BEFORE he ships it out. a piece of cardboard or something if sending with toploaders.

am i right to be upset here? a pic of what i have now is below.

Honestly i think he could have done a little bit more to package the card but doesnt look like it was his fault if the card was bent when you recived it. If you look at his ratings he is almost at 100 percent great feedback,so it might be the postal and delivery services that damage your goods.

Yeah I agree with these guys, it looks like that was the post office's fault and not the sellers. That's one mighty crease, and like you mention the bubble mailer had a big rip in it....I doubt the card would be un-damaged if there was more protection.

I got a NT Gaines Adams card auto/jersey /25, with a rip in the bubbler, and the plastic case was cracked to hell, although the card survived MAJOR damage, just a small stress mark on back corner... Damn PO and my dad works for them....
