Best & Worst Of The WWE

well i'm bored really badly right now, so i thought we could all have a discussion of this.

We all know WWE has done some great things, and some bad things. heres my take

WWE scouts great talent, they have taken guys from zero to hero, for instance taking Kevin Nash from WCW were he was known has Vinny Vegas, and becoming the WWE champion as Diesel, or taking Stone Cold from WCW and at 1996 King of the Ring, well the rest is history.....

but they have destroyed great talents into nothing i believe. for instance, signing Tazz, a former ECW champion, and a terrific wrestler! sure injuries ended his career, but he never got any sort of push. also Justin Credible, also a former ECW champion, never was given any type of chance when he was signed.

Gimmicks in the WWE are next, there use to be in the attitude era gimmicks like DX, and The Nation. great stables, there was the Ministry of Darkness, The Corporation and even the Coporate Ministry. and even going back a few years ago we had Evolution. since then zero stables, and as a result from those stables guys like Santino hold the IC Title?

back in 1996ish to 2002 to Tag Titles meant something. we had the Hardys, Dudley Boys, Edge & Christian, now there is Simply Priceless, and well Simply Priceless is all there is.

There are great talents out there waiting for there chance, but ultimatly first impressions towards the fans are a big deal. Santino's career is finished i believe, because his gimmick is so terrible that no one can take him seriously.

My last complaint here is Gimmick matches, in the days were HIAC meant something and the first elimination chamber, we now see the Extreme Elimination Chamber and the Championship Scramble match. these aren't good idea's because being overused. 3 Scramble matches in one PPV? destined for failure IMO.




also, people i think who need a push John Morrison (not sure why they didnt put him in the scramble?), The Miz, The Brian Kendrick. Ted Dibiase Jr.

I think Miz and Morrison need to pay some more dues before they get title pushes. Kennedy should get a push before them, same with Jeff Hardy.

If you can't see the frame work for Giant explosion of stables, you are blind. cena and crime time, priceless and orton, Santino and beth phoenix and some other people maybe. its all shaping up. they are doing something that they haven't done in years. Taking their time and letting things progress. trust me, Its happening.

but anything that shaped with Cena is down the tube with his neck surgery. i'm talking about larger stables with atleast 4 people. i can see batista and mysterio, unless they are planning on rey to look messed up from "kane's attack".

I don't think we need stables...at this point of time leave around stables we don't have decent tag-teams in line....The intercontinental championship and the United States Championship have lost it's grace. A title that was once seriously contended for (try comparing a IC match between Michaels and Razor Ramon with a title match between Santino and Kofi Kingston)...shame...The US championship once a fiercely competed title...rewind to Goldberg in WCW is just on display with a novice like shelton benjamin holding it...it's high time that the creative team really took the competition seriously...

thanks! i like to watch the older days on youtube, it was more exciting when a title could change on raw or smackdown, now they ONLY change at PPV's

I seem to remember cm punk winning the title on raw less then 2 months ago.

I hate that people ***** about the old days. I was around then, it wasn't that great. for every steve austin there were 6 Gillbergs. for every Rock's there was sexual chocolate mark henry. And when the road dog was holding the ic title. Yeah that made it look really strong.

and who else though has won it since cm punk or any title on cable TV? zero, its only PPV's. i'm talking when they had they had the rock and triple h coming up in there careers going after the IC Title. people arent getting great pushes anymore when they deserve so, if your going to make ECW so terrible atleast put one of the top guys in morrison in the scramble. and i hate matt hardy, i can't see him as a good champion

I'm not defending the wwe. I'm just saying that people aways talk about how things were always better. and they weren't. I watch alot of wwe24/7 and in retrospect lots of the attitude era stuff was cheesy. You want to know some thing, people said the same thing you are saying right now back in 98. believe it.
