    Hornets sign veteran Sean Marks

    NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Hornets on Thursday signed free agent Sean Marks, a nine-year NBA veteran who can play both power forward and center.

    "We are excited for Sean to join our team," said Hornets general manager Jeff Bower, who did not release terms of the contract, citing team policy. "He is a veteran leader who has been on winning teams and will be a great addition to our frontcourt."

    I think this is an ok signing....could've done better, I'm sure, but it does give them more depth after Melvin Ely and Hilton Armstrong.

    he was on the suns last year but got very limited playing time. hopefully the hornets are a better fit.
