    1-card mailday...with a question...

    Hey gang!

Well, I don't have many basketball maildays anymore (mostly just looking for Prince autos), but I'll post 'em up as them come! Here's the latest...

03/04 Fleer Flair Final Edition Autograph Collection Tayshaun Prince auto /13

    Now my question is...

Prior to the 05/06 season, I was still cracking a lot of basketball wax, and back in 03/04, I remember picking up several boxes of this stuff. Within the product, I remember there being an Autograph Collection set, in which the regular autos were #d /200; then there was the Parchment parallel autos that were #d /25; and the Gold parallels, that were #d /10. But I don't remember there being another parallel set #d /13, or with varied #ing, so what the heck is this? I notice that both the Flair logo on the front and the serial number on the back are stamped in black, rather than the typical bronze or gold stamping on the other versions...was there a "black" parallel? The price guide only seems to list the regular/parchement/gold versions.

    Thanks for any info!

That is a very nice auto. But it does seem a little weird that it is #d to 13. I have not seen any of them if i find any thing out ill let you know.

    Thanks guys!

King-That used to be fairly common with Fleer's numbering...not really sure why.

Dave-Thanks! Another detail about this card that is different from the regular/parchment/gold versions is that the Flair logo on this one is stamped on the upper-right of the card, rather than the upper-left.

I had thought about contacting Fleer (Upper Deck), but I figured that since there are no longer any checklists for pre-05/06 (pre-UD) Fleer sets on their website, that it probably wouldn't do much good to contact them, as they're likely not releasing any info on those sets anymore.

Very nice card, but I'm sorry that I don't have any info. Even though it's SP, is there a BV on this?
