    Anyone good with TV'S...HDTV Problem??

long story short, have an Insignia 26" LCD HDTV
Last night the picture started to jump....it'll be fine for a bit then it's almost like the bottom starts going toward the middle and vibrating

It's def. something with the set and not the cable, as the other tv (non hd) is working fine and it started doing it after a while while i was playing PS3

I've been checking online all morning but can't seem to find a reason or solution, so figured i'd give it a fly on here....I'm not too worried as i have an extended warranty, but if it was something i could fix myself i figured it would save me the haul to best buy

    Thanks in advance

My 46" Toshiba did the same thing and first they thought it was the Conversion board. So they fixed that ($450). We got the set back and low and behold it wasn't fixed. So the repair company contacted Toshiba and they sent a 3rd generation board. Meaning it was messed up still. Now 3 weeks later and still no TV I am waiting on a 3rd Generation Signal Board to come in to fix it.

    Sorry man that stinks

I guess i can close this thread out though, cause i just figured it out myself

ironically only after my gf brought it back to best buy and they had no idea and were about to ship it out for 6-8 weeks.....had a few more things i wanted to try (which i asked the "geek squad" and they all said most likely would not be the cause) so picked it up. Turns out my surge protector was old and messed up, looks like it lost the ground so was causing interference with the signal and creating the distortion

Glad it was the cheap route.
