Ridiculous things announcers say.
I was just watching the Michigan/ Utah game and the announcers were talking about the interception the Michigan QB threw before halftime. They called it an "ill-advised" pick.
Aren't all interceptions "ill-advised"?
Any other annoying announcer comments out there?

Amen!! Gumbel is the #1 worst ever...he does to Football broadcasting what Tim McCarver does to Baseball.
Add Joe Buck to that list as a close second, he is TERRIBLE !!!!!!
As a general thing, I hate when these idgits over state the Obvious, or call guys by the wrong name (Gumbel called Frank Gore....I kid you not, Al Gore.)
Another thing I can't stand is when these dummies mix up certain terms, like "The shot clock is running down"........in a football game.(Gumbel again) Or in a Basketball game when they say period instead of quarter...not technically 100% wrong , but aren't periods just for Hockey??
I think my personal favorite is when there's a fumble and the announcer will say "What a play by the big fella. Not only did he pick up the ball, but he had the presence of mind to pick it up and get into the end zone." Call me Einstein, but I don't see how picking a ball up and running towards a painted end-zone has anything to do with presence of mind. I mean, really, what are his other options? Is the guy going to pick the ball up and eat it?
These people shouldn't have jobs with a microphone:
Bill walton... makes me cry
Stephen A. Smith ...he has no clue about anything, he is just loud.
Tony Kornheiser....stick to your show on ESPN, and thats it.
Shannon Sharpe....I can't understand him.
Deion Sanders......Just because

Exactly how is that bad? He is speaking from his experience, and some of the stuff he says is actually insightful. The only time he gets annoying is when he starts talking about Brett Favre
