I'm with Alex....California shouldn't have ONE race, let alone two.

Cali seems to be the most boring races year in and year out, with the most empty seats of any track....yet they still have two races. Hmmm....wonder why?

Jeremy, i can explain it in one sentence...

IT'S THE MONEY, STUPID!!!!! (I didn't mean to call you stupid.)

plain and simple...that LA market is the biggest market in NASCAR. That is the ONLY reason that we still have two races a year there. If the France family was able to biuld a track in NYC and within spitting distance of it, they would put two races there no questions asked and probably take Darlington and a Pocono race off the schedule.

Bad enough you have a COT that is in such a tight box, that you can't even sneeze on it wihtout getting a six-race suspension; some yarners of races--and one really stupid one this past July; and outside of Kyle and Carl no one else seeming only to care about making the Chase instead of winning races, this season has stunk to high heaven adn I don't see it getting any better soon.

this is definitely true-California is a bad track with too warm of weather and not enough people there care about Nascar-its about the market and the money involved in it-exactly right!

As far as bad racing all yr-Ive seen flashes of great stuff-Richmond was a great race-both Bristols were good races-Talladega and Daytona were both unreal.

However we have seen a lot of people stinking up the show this yr lol-Carl and Kyle obviously, and Jimmie tonight, and Nascar at the Brickyard lol.

As a Carl fan I like this season-the racing-well we get flashes of brilliance-but its not like the gibbs series is any better on saturday lol so i dont know if its the car's fault.

I sorta like the car because it handles like crap and the true drivers are really showin their stuff now. We are seein who has the gumption to drive a loose racecar every week.
