One more Fantasy team to rate...why not?

I've posted on a ton of people's fantasy teams, so please return the favor.

12 man keeper league, I had 3rd pick (LJ killed me last year). Each team keeps 4 offensive players and 1 defensive, so 48 off players are off the board right off the bat. Anyway, here's what I got:

    STARTERS:
QB: Jay Cutler (I know a lot of people are down on him, but I expect big things this year...and I'm not the only one: Cutler bustin' out
RB: Ryan Grant (1st Rd Pick...I had him as the best available player starting the draft, but Picks 1 and 2 went McFadden and MJD, so I was happy)
    RB/WR: Larry Johnson (Keeper)
    WR: Torry Holt (Keeper)
WR: Santonio Holmes (ESPN also picked as a breakout this year)
    TE: Kellen Winslow (Keeper)
    LB: Kirk Morrison (Keeper)
    LB: DeMarcus Ware
    DB: Chris Harris
    K: Mason Crosby

    BENCH:
    QB Philip Rivers
RB Fred Taylor (Keeper...didn't have too much to pick from)
RB LenDale White (not big on him, but he was the last starter available at that pick)
RB Brandon Jackson (handcuff for Grant)
WR Donald Driver (fell pretty far, got him much later than I expected him to go)
    WR Vincent Jackson
TE Ben Utecht (I don't usually keep a backup TE, but he was my last pick...not much else available and I think he'll have a bust out year)
LB Keith Rivers (have to have 1 IDP on the bench, why not a rookie w/a lot of potential)

We drafted on Saturday and today I see the ESPN columns about Cutler and Holmes being picked as breakout players...that made me feel pretty good.

I don't usually post in these, but for you, why not?

Grant (essentially a 5th round pick) is a good pick, although I'm down on him & LJ this year...I had Fred Taylor last year, and I hated him (couldn't trust him by the time he got going late in the season)!

Santonio Holmes will have a big year, and Donald Driver fell really far in our draft as well, but I think he's a very solid player and will again reach 1000 yards! Torry Holt & Kellen Winslow should also be fantasy studs! I don't know how I feel about Ben Utecht

Jay Cutler I like, but I don't like his coach, so I'm never sure how Denver players are going to do stat wise...but he's definitely a fantasy starter!

I like Morrison & Ware a lot, but I dont know about Chris Harris...there's gotta be some free agents out there that are better?

overall, pretty solid team...good luck this year!

I'm not as high on Grant as a lot of people are either. He had a good 3/5 of a season, that doesn't mean he's going to be a stud...there had to be a reason the Giants let him go and he was behind Morency, Jackson, and Wynn. He kind of snuck up on people last year, but that won't happen now. I'm highly concerned about LJ...he wasn't having a good year before he went down last year.

I think Cutler is a big question mark for most people...we'll just have to see how that goes. That's why I took Rivers instead of waiting and getting Matt Ryan or JaMarcus Russell.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same Chris Harris...for the Panthers, #1 fantasy safety in the league last year. I'm pretty psyched about getting him (well as psyched as you can be about an IDP). Maybe you meant a good LB would be better, but I forgot to mention that we have to have two LBs and one DB starting...can't have three LBs.

    Thanks for the comments

yeah, I guess I didn't realize he had 8 forced fumbles last year...I'm sure that helped his points....We don't play with IDP, but what about defensive linemen? I like a guy like Jared Allen or Aaron Kampman who get to the QB all the time...

Has to be LBs and DBs...no spots for lineman. Although last year I had somebody...can't remember who, was an Eagle...and ESPN had him listed as a LB/DT. That was nice, had a lot of sacks because he played mostly D-Line.

I'm not a huge fan of IDPs. I don't know hardly any of the defensive players aside from the big names like Champ and Ray-Ray. Plus, when you look at fantasy rankings for IDPs, almost every site is different after the first 1 or 2. You see a guy at #3 on one site, but he's at #42 on the next site...no consensus whatsoever. Makes it basically a crap shoot.
