good luck!
here in Virginia you don't even have to parallel park on your test. so i have never done it haha. it sucks though because when i go somewhere with parallel parking i have to try and find 2 spots in a row so i can just pull in. it's a good skill to know!

I took mine about two months ago. I didn't quite get deep enough into the parallel parking spot, and got 3 points of, but other than that did fine and didn't lose any other points. Just practice and you will be good to go. The space on my test was much bigger than what I was practicing on.
You'll probably be nervous before hand and a little bit during the test, bu once you get in the car just focus on the road and the fundamentals.
Make sure to always check your blind spots with a quick head check before merging into another lane/turn lane (no matter how your mirrors are set). Also be sure not to enter a turn lane before the designated break in the line. If you go over any part of the diagonal yellow lines before a turn lane you get lots of points off (in GA anyway). Also check your mirrors frequently so the person evaluating you knows you're aware of whats going on. Also, don't go too slow. Go just under the speed limit, but do be careful not to go over.
At the end you'll probably be surprised at how much easier it was than you may have expected. Not having to ride the bus is great too! This is my first year driving to school.
Good luck!

hopefully it all goes well, when i practiced parallel parking last weekend, i practiced on a "practice" place where you can prepare for your road test. i did fine on it and dont think i should fail!

The three instructors I had were all elderly as well; two female and one male. I'm wondering where all these hot young DMV employers are coming from for these other people.
