    ebay question, weird....

An item I was bidding on (I think it was going to end tonight) is no longer in my "My Ebay" page. It's gone, with no trace of it. I tried searching for it, but I can't find it anywhere.

So, does anyone know what couldv'e happened?

They may have stopped the auction. Obviously it wouldn't show up when you searched for it and it would move to the bottom of your watched items. Try searching completed listings and you might find it there.

It's possible that the seller deleted his/her account, or that the seller was removed by eBay. I think I've read about this happening to someone else, and the next day he/she checked again, the item was back

or someone offered the seller a good price on it (doesnt need to be a offer auction, could just e-mail them) and the seller took it

Thanks guys, I tried the completed items search and found the card that way. What's really strange is it says there was no bids, which is not true, and it wasn't supposed to end until tonight.

It's also strange that this listing is not anywhere on my "my ebay" page, hmmmmmmmm.

    Here's the link http://cgi.ebay.com/02-RARE-ALLEN-IV...QQcmdZViewItem

If a seller ends an auction early...it removes all bids from the auction...

Ok, thanks guys. Does that mean the seller simply decided not to sell it?

That, or someone offered an off-eBay deal
